Hello, I am a Norwegian multidisciplinary designer and researcher. I am the founder of Framlab, a NYC and Bergen-based studio for design and applied research, and Modularity Lab, an independent research group exploring modular systems. I also serve as an advisor with Antler and the United Nations REM group, and as an affiliate researcher with GRIP. Previously, I have worked with leading design firms, such as Toshiko Mori Architects in New York, RRA in Oslo, 3XUID in Copenhagen, and Titoma in Taipei.
In addition, I have taught design courses at institutions such as the University of Pennsylvania, Cornell University, and Columbia University, and served on juries for programs such as the International Architecture & Design Awards and Rethinking The Future Awards. I hold an engineering degree from the Technical University of Denmark and a Master of Architecture degree with distinction from the University of Pennsylvania. My work has been awarded the Philippe Cret Medal for consistent demonstration of design excellence.
Last but not least, I am currently immersed in the world of horticulture and yoga, while trying to master the art of baking bread.
